TITANIUM

CC Disk Ti5 are a titanium-based casted discs designed to make individual crowns, larger bridges and supra-structures over implants. It is made out of Class 5 titanium with higher purity for maximum biocompatibility and it is designed to make substitutes that must be rigid and hard, such as e.g. frames and crossbars, bridges on implants and supra-structures. They do not contain nickel, beryllium, cadmium and lead and meet the requirements of EN ISO 22674 and EN ISO 9693-1.

Porcelain firing and production:

  • Sandblast the frame surface with 110 u Al₂O₃ (Interalox) under pressure of 2-3 bar.
  • Clean the surface with steam or diethyl ether. Do not use an acid such as hydrochloric acid.
  • Use titanium-suitable ceramics that meet the requirements of EN ISO 9693-1 (eg VITA TITANCERAMIC). Follow the manufacturer's instructions when firing ceramics.
  • After firing remove the oxides with glass beads on the cervical parts of the crowns. Use silicone rubber bands and polishing paste to make it.

CC Disk Ti2 is a casted titanium disc, designed for the manufacture of crowns, small span bridges and individual supra-structures over implants, type 3. It is made of Class 2 titanium without nickel, beryllium, cadmium and lead. CC DISK Ti2 complies with EN ISO 22674 and EN ISO 9693-1.
