PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a semi-crystalline, thermoplastic polymer with a linear structure. It is characterized by good mechanical properties, such as resistance to high temperatures and resistance to hydrolysis. A low modulus of elasticity, similar to bone, can prevent most of the problems associated with internal stresses.

Due to its high biocompatibility and excellent mechanical properties, the material is increasingly used in orthopedic and traumatic cases and is a very good alternative to conventional dental materials.

The discs comply with the EN ISO 10993-1 standard.
